Construction Accountant - Independent Contractor

Job Title: Construction Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for a growing construction company. This role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting functions, including job costing, project financial tracking, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction accounting, understands job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting, and is comfortable working closely with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

 Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
