The Computer Operator is responsible for accurate data handling, routine system operations, and basic IT support tasks. This role is execution-focused, not decision‑making. If someone can’t follow instructions, meet deadlines, or maintain accuracy, they will fail in this role.
Job Specification
- Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems (ERP, Excel, databases) with high accuracy
- Operate office software (MS Word, Excel, email) on a daily basis
- Generate routine reports and printouts as required
- Monitor basic system operations and report errors or irregularities immediately
- Maintain digital and physical records in an organized manner
- Coordinate with supervisors and departments for data verification
