Compute Operations Analyst

About the Role
As a Compute Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and restoring midrange and cloud-based systems. This role is heavily hands-on and operational, with a strong focus on backup operations, incident management, system monitoring, and service restoration. You will work closely with system administrators, database teams, vendors, and business partners to meet strict service level commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and operate midrange platforms to ensure system availability
Proactively monitor systems and respond to service health trends
Execute incident management, escalation, and notification procedures
Perform first-level diagnostics, troubleshooting, and rapid service restoration
Monitor backup infrastructure and ensure backup jobs complete successfully
Process restore requests and troubleshoot backup/restore failures
