Compounding Engineer

Summary

Ensure all materials supplied to production are in good conditions without compromising quality and safe workplace.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for set-up of daily activities including staging of batches, equipment cleaning/sanitization and set-up, and documenting in batch records and logbooks.
2. Review daily mix schedules and ensures the raw materials to mixes manually, using pumps or mixing systems.
3. To prepare and develop workplace SOP for process training and mentoring.
4. Report any out-of-spec raw material, premixes or mixed batches and consults with Compounding Supervisor / Superintendent on any batch adjustment.
5. To monitor stock level and usage of all chemical materials.
6. Properly and maintain good 5S at workplace and tools required.
7. Ability to read and match numbers on shipping records, labels, raw materials and finished goods.
