About the Role

The Opportunity:
The Community Development Coordinator is responsible for leadership and supervision of community development and programming. This position primarily focuses on implementing a community development approach to Arts and Culture program and service delivery within the broader Community Development portfolio. While managing this area, the incumbent is responsible for communications, safety and policy implementation.
As our preferred candidate, you will have:
University undergraduate degree with major concentration in a community development, environmental initiatives, visual and/or performing arts area or recreation OR a combination of other education and relevant experience.
At least two years of professional Community Development experience and supervisory experience combined with demonstrated understanding of using community development as a process for program and service delivery.
