Commissioning Engineer

Leap29 supports a leading data centre client near Oslo who are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a major hyperscale data centre programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in the testing, validation, and handover of critical mechanical, electrical, and control systems, ensuring facilities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the commissioning and startup of mission‑critical data centre infrastructure.
• Review commissioning plans, procedures, and test scripts for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, vendors, consultants, and client teams.
• Witness and document pre‑functional, functional, and integrated systems testing (IST).
• Verify performance of critical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chilled water, fire protection, and BMS/EPMS systems.
