Responsibilities
- Lead customer estimating activities and provide commercial support across the engineering function
- Produce accurate and timely quotations for CNC machined components
- Lead and coordinate estimating activity within a small team
- Prepare detailed cost estimates to support new business acquisition
- Provide commercial support to Engineering Cost of Sales (COS)
- Analyse COS data and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Work closely with engineering to meet customer demand and delivery requirements
- Liaise with supply chain to source materials to customer specification
- Support and maintain process documentation in line with the company BMS
