Collaborative Research Internship

About the Role
DutiesTypical duties include, but are not limited to: Conducting statistical consolations with forensic science students conducting capstone research projects; methods of visualizing and analyzing univariate, bivariate, and multivariate data in forensic science, with emphasis on practical applications of statistics in various forensic sub-disciplines. Minimum Qualifications A Masters degree (completed or in progress) in statistics or closely related field, with substantial science course background at the graduate level. Research experience is required, including knowledge of UTM ethics review protocols and writing research proposals; excellent communication skills; available to students via email within 24 hours (excluding weekends) for duration of TAship; an ability to communicate information clearly; interest, enthusiasm, and experience in scientific research; rapport with undergraduates; knowledge of techniques used in scientific research and project management.
