Coater Engineering Manager

Position Summary

The Coating Lead Process Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing thin-film coating and deposition processes within a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. This role provides technical leadership, drives yield improvement, ensures process stability, and mentors a team of process engineers and technicians. The position plays a critical role in new technology transfer, high-volume manufacturing optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineering & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, installation, commissioning, and validation of coating equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance throughput, yield, and quality.
• Oversee process development, optimization, and troubleshooting of coating lines.
• Support scale-up from pilot line to high-volume manufacturing.
