Minimum Qualifications

• Must have completed an apprenticeship program for Machinist or equivalent experience
• Machinist Certificate of Qualification considered an asset
• Three (3) years experience working in a Machinist or Technician capacity performing CNC Programming and Set‑up in a manufacturing environment (Automotive Industry preferably)
• Excellent knowledge of CNC Programming and CNC machine controls i.e. tool offsets/changes, program changeovers
• Excellent knowledge of hand tools and assembly processes
• Excellent knowledge of measuring equipment, SPC, and safety legislation
• Advanced knowledge of machining and proven experience in prototyping and blueprint reading
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English both written and spoken
• Must demonstrate creativity, initiative and problem‑solving skills
