CNC Programmer / Setter Operator

CNC Programmer/Setter Operator (Citizen & Miyano)

Due to business expansion our client is looking for a permanent CNC Programmer setter, someone who has experience in Citizen and Miyano. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment for a leading engineering company in Olbury.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate Citizen Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC lathes (L20s, L32s – including LFV).
• Set and operate Miyano Fixed Head CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Program CNC machines for new jobs using existing G‑code templates.
• Change tips, drills, tools and inserts to maintain machine performance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform first‑off inspections and measure parts using vernier calipers, micrometres, and other measuring tools.
• Follow production job card system and maintain production documentation.
