About the Role

The Role

My client is a small yet well-established machine shop specialising in machined parts and components used in a variety of industries.

My client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will be confident programming online at the machine using Fanuc controls and have a strong background in producing high-quality, close-tolerance components.

Key Responsibilities

Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes

Using Fanuc controls

Working from technical drawings and specifications to tight tolerances

Performing machine maintenance and ensuring safe operating procedures

Conducting inspection to ensure quality standards are met and maintained

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00- 16:30 with an early finish on a Friday.
