CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce complex parts to exact specifications

• Create and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software.

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models.

• Determine tooling, cutting paths, feeds, and speeds based on material and part geometry.

• Maintain and document programs and revisions in accordance with company procedures.

• Set up, operate, and monitor 3 & 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues related to tooling, materials, or programming.

• Build cross-functional teams for quality initiatives and corrective actions.

• Adjust offsets, tool wear, and feeds/speeds as needed to maintain quality standards.

• Maintain and document programs and revisions in accordance with company procedures.
