The CNC Programmer is a valued contributor responsible for producing machined parts by programming in G code, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and manual machines. The role involves maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program CNC lathes and mills.
+ Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
+ Read and understand drawings.
+ Set up and operate complex production parts.
+ Machine various metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.
+ Operate mills, lathes, drill press, and surface grinders.
+ Run forklifts to transport products and raw materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous CNC programming experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
+ Experience with G-Codes.
