CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct first‑piece inspection after tool changes for affected dimensions
• Adjust or replace inserts/cutters as needed
• Read and interpret setup sheets, job routers, inspection plans, and applicable documents
• Maintain machines and work areas clean and organized (5S)
• Optimize production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets
• Reuse cutters where possible to minimize waste and reduce costs
• Conduct quality checks on parts and components

Scope of Authority

• Follow instructions from superiors and complete tasks within assigned cycle time or target
• Ensure proper handling and reuse of used cutters for cost savings
• Conduct quality inspections on components and products
