About the Role

& Responsibilities / Job duties:
  • Create CMM Programs using PC-DMIS software

  • Inspect products using CMM in accordance with our quality system procedures

  • Read blueprint drawings and specifications

  • Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications (using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, shadowgraph, hardness tester, plug gauges, pin gauges)

  • Document / discuss unacceptable or nonconforming materials with internal and external parties and take corrective action, when required
  • Qualifications:

  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerances (GD&T).

  • Minimum 3 years comprehensive CMM experience, PC-DMIS software and Quality Control.

  • CNC machining process experience an asset.
