About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS OpenSearch Engineer to design, manage, and optimize log and event correlation platforms on AWS. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance OpenSearch environments to support observability, monitoring, and security use cases across multiple data sources.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
- Knowledge of index design, ISM/ILM, Query DSL, and aggregations
- Experience correlating logs and events using identifiers such as trace_id and session_id
- Log ingestion and processing experience (parsing, enrichment, timestamp normalization)
- Familiarity with observability and/or SIEM use cases
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
- Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
