Cloud Migration Specialist (20 hrs)

Our client is moving their legacy on‑premises SQL data warehouse into a modern cloud environment.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Data Migration Specialist who can lead the full migration journey end-to-end. From preparation, to execution, to hypercare.

This role is ideal for someone who has led multiple data warehouse migrations , understands complex on‑prem SQL environments , and can guide both technical teams and business stakeholders through a safe, controlled transition.

The Role

• Analyse the existing on‑prem SQL data warehouse, lineage, and dependencies
• Create the migration runbook, cutover plan, rollback scenarios
• Lead execution during migration + hypercare
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and business continuity
• Communicate clearly with engineering, architecture, business, security & finance (incl. CFO-level)
