Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (100% remote, permanent, global role)

Our client is seeking aCloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their global Cloud Governance & Security team, based in Kuala Lumpur . This is a key role responsible for managing and governing core cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure , ensuring compliance with security and operational standards, and supporting large-scale cloud migrations and global infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the core Azure cloud tenant , including subscriptions, access control, and policy enforcement.
• Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and ensure alignment with security and governance standards.
• Collaborate with the cloud platform team to provide essential services and infrastructure support.
• Oversee automation and infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Support on-prem to cloud migration initiatives
