Civil Engineering Graduate

The AECOM Edmonton Transportation Department is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to work in the Bridge Inspection Team.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the inspection of various bridge components such as substructures, superstructures, and approach roads
• Conduct inspections in accordance with the BIM (Bridge Inspection and Maintenance System) inspection manual and other relevant regulations
• Understanding structural behavior such as load paths, force distributions, and bending actions to assess the condition and severity of in-service bridges
• Preparation of inspection forms, reports and rehabilitation recommendations in accordance with industry standards
