About the Role
Trainer/ Assessor (Construction – Civil Engineering)
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £31,110–£36,157
Purpose of Role
To manage a caseload of learners, delivering high-quality coaching, mentoring and training to achieve timely apprenticeship completion. Carrying out progress reviews and give clear feedback to learners, employers and colleagues. Whilst supporting development and assessment of learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Training, Coaching & Assessment
* Complete the sign-up process, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
* Use initial assessments to plan learning in English, maths and KSBs.
* Provide ongoing information, advice and guidance, ensuring learners understand support and career options.
* Prepare learners for assessments, gateway and EPA.
* Ensure assessment meets Awarding Organisation (AO) and internal quality standards.
