Role and Context
Western Isles Integration Joint Board (IJB) is responsible for planning and commissioning a range of community health and social care and hospital services for the local population. The Chief Officer is accountable to the IJB for planning, developing transformational and strategic options/choices, and following decision making ensuring agreed direction to parent bodies and commissioning and delivery of the full range of integrated functions through the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
