Chief Officer

Overview

PG Global is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join an offshore support vessel operating in the Middle East. The chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe vessel operations, cargo handling, and compliance with international maritime standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as second-in-command, supporting the Master in all vessel operations.
• Oversee deck crew activities, including mooring, cargo, and offshore operations.
• Ensure vessel stability, ballast control, and cargo planning.
• Lead safety drills, emergency preparedness, and crew training.
• Maintain compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations.
• Prepare and submit operational and safety reports as required.

Requirements

• Chief Mate Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2).
• Minimum 24 months’ sea service in rank on offshore support or DP vessels.
