AHS has an exciting opportunity within its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Corporate and Clinical Support Services, the CFO establishes financial priorities, providing strategic financial advice and supporting finance functions that empower site leaders to make informed financial decisions through hospital-based leadership. The CFO works closely with Acute Care Alberta in the strategic allocation of funds and manages an operating budget of over $8.5B, capital budget of approximately $100M, and oversight of 97 employees. An accomplished leader, the CFO establishes and maintains positive relationships with local, provincial, and national representatives and stakeholders, including government departments and officials.
