Our client is seeking an experienced Chef to join their restaurant in Labrador, Queensland.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise food preparation and cooking in a licensed restaurant
- Manage kitchen operations and cooking activities
- Train kitchen staff and apprentices
- Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs
- Order food supplies
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages
- Liaise with managers, dietitians, and staff on food preparation
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and procedures
