About the Role
We require Chefs to join our kitchen team in our private Aged Care Facility in Figtree.
A variety of shifts available which will be discussed with the successful applicants. Public holiday loading and weekend penalty rates will be available.
Skills and experience
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery is a must.
- Aged Care experience is desirable but not necessary.
- Must be reliable.
- Food safety certificate required or willing to obtain.
- Be able to multi task and work well in a team environment and a leadership role.
- Empathy towards residents and staff.
- Willing to go the extra mile to produce high quality standard of food and service.
- Knowledge in texture modified meals (IDDSI) preferred.
