About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Virtual Medical Assistant with strong chart preparation experience in a U.S. medical practice .
This is NOT a scheduling or general VA role.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked on pre-visit chart preparation and insurance verification .
Required Experience- 1–2+ years of chart prep experience in a U.S. healthcare setting
- Experience preparing patient charts before appointments
- Insurance verification experience
- Experience checking:
- Referrals
- Prior authorizations
- Eligibility & benefits
- PCP assignment
- Coordination of benefits
- Experience using portals such as:
- Availity
- UHC
- Tricare
- Cigna
- Other payer portals
- Prepare and review patient charts 24–48 hours before appointments
- Verify demographics, insurance, referrals...
