Certification Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking a #BESSCertification Engineer to lead compliance, testing, and certification activities for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role will ensure all systems meet applicable safety, regulatory, and performance standards for grid-connected and renewable energy applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate BESS designs including battery packs, BMS, PCS/inverters, EMS, and protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BIS, and local grid codes.
• Coordinate certification activities with external agencies and testing laboratories.
• Lead validation processes including type testing, FAT, SAT, and performance verification.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for regulatory approvals and audits.
