Certification Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking a #BESSCertification Engineer to lead compliance, testing, and certification activities for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role will ensure all systems meet applicable safety, regulatory, and performance standards for grid-connected and renewable energy applications.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate BESS designs including battery packs, BMS, PCS/inverters, EMS, and protection systems.
Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BIS, and local grid codes.
Coordinate certification activities with external agencies and testing laboratories.
Lead validation processes including type testing, FAT, SAT, and performance verification.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for regulatory approvals and audits.
Support grid integration and renewable project compliance requirements.
Work closely with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure certification readiness.
