Cath Lab Technicians

Job Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional procedures.
• Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and hemodynamic monitors.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures and ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of the lab.
• Monitor vital signs and alert the medical team of any complications or changes.
• Assist in the administration of contrast media and other medications under supervision.
• Maintain accurate procedural records, logs, and inventory of cath lab supplies.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Provide emergency support during cardiac events or complications.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other staff to provide high-quality patient care.
