Category Manager

The Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing a category plan to bring growth in sales, margins and profitability through;

• Market, customer and competitor analysis
• Product range development
• Supplier negotiations
• Trade promotions and activities
• Basic store merchandising
• Potential business growth drivers (internal and external) identification.

Role focuses on:

• Supplier management through collaborative category promotions and plans that will result in increased market share and positive sales and margin growth, and 100% completion of TTAs according to agreed timelines.
• Business development through quarterly review and analysis of the market dynamics, development and implementation of category-building programs resulting in positive sales and margins and increased market share according to agreed metrics and periodic assessment of competitors' activities, pricing, ...
