Carpentry Technician

As part of our Sigma Temporaire department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned company in the construction sector based in the region. To meet their needs, we are actively looking for an experienced Timber Technician:Timber TechnicianTechnical skills (core business)- Reading plans, diagrams, and calculation notes- Knowledge of wood structures (traditional, industrial, glued-laminated timber frames)- Mastery of assembly techniques (mortise and tenon, housing joints, metal connectors)- Layout, cutting, and machining of wood- Setup and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, hand tools)- Implementation of roofs and wood structures- Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules)- Installation, assembly, and lifting of timber frame elements- Quality, stability, and compliance control- Concepts of material resistance and load calculationsComplementary technical skills- Mastery of drawing or CAD/CAM software (e.g., Cadwork, AutoCAD, SEMA...
