Care Assistant

Position Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join HC-One. This role supports the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents, providing personal care and assisting with daily activities in the home. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and deliver compassionate, person‑centred care, including end‑of‑life support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene, and feeding.
• Assist residents with daily activities and routines.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
• Identify signs of abuse, neglect or harm and report concerns following safeguarding procedures.
• Participate in safeguarding training and provide appropriate advice and escalation.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person‑centred care.
