Major Roles & Responsibilities
Patient Diagnosis and Treatment
Evaluate patients with suspected or known cardiovascular diseases.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac MRIs, and CT scans.
Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans for conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
Interventional and Non-Invasive Procedures
Perform or supervise procedures depending on specialization (e.g., angioplasty, catheterization, pacemaker insertion).
Provide non-invasive cardiac care including prescribing medications, lifestyle advice, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Multidisciplinary Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensi...
