The Department of Medicine and Life Sciences (MELIS) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) aims to fill two Bioinformatics Research Technician positions (reference MELIS-PSR-INDF- ).

Position requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in statistical analysis, scientific visualization, and proficiency in programming languages (R, Python).
• Specialized Software: Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and pipelines (e.g., STAR, DESeq2, samtools, MACS2).
• Advanced level of English.

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in software development.
• Skills in project coordination and data management.
