About the Role
Responsible for performing structural and fatigue simulations, including modal transient analysis, to evaluate design solutions and confirm their effectiveness against key performance metrics. Conducts root cause analyses and correlation activities to validate virtual results with physical data. Effectively communicates findings to Design & Release teams, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of internal and external fatigue tools.
- Bachelor of Science/ Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in CAE, with a preference for fatigue analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of material science, fatigue principles (stress-life, strain-life), and structural mechanics.
- Proficiency with the following software:
- **Pre-processing**:ANSA, Hypermesh
- **FEA Solvers**:NASTRAN, OptiStruct, Abaqus,
- **Fatigue Tools**:nCode, FeSafe Verity, Fdynam
- **CAD**:Teamcenter, 3DX
