About the Role

Resideo is currently seeking a CAD Documentation Engineer / CAD Librarian to design and maintain security intrusion system and smart home wireless product libraries and documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating, managing, and maintaining electronic component libraries (schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models) using CAD tools such as Altium or Mentor.


JOB DUTIES:
Library Creation & Maintenance: Create, validate, and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D STEP models using CAD tools (., Altium, Xpedition, Mentor).
Data Accuracy & Validation: Verify components against manufacturer datasheets, mechanical drawings, and IPC standards (Class 2/3) to ensure accuracy and quality.
Library Management & Control: Manage centralized component libraries, applying strict naming conventions, revision control, and lifecycle management (active/obsolete).
