About the Role
For one of our leading industrial clients, we’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager - Category Manager Packaging - Steel, aluminium, wooden pallets .
Scope: drive sourcing strategy across Europe, with a strong focus on cost optimization, sustainability, supplier performance, and innovation .
Key focus:
- Developing and deploying the European Packaging category strategy
- Driving TCO optimization and value creation across sub-categories (Flexibles, FIBCs, Corrugated - Steel, aluminium, wooden pallets)
- Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and packaging buyers
- Managing risk, supply continuity, and sustainability initiatives
Profile: 5+ years exp
Category scope: ~€10m spend - ~25 suppliers
Location: Barcelona, Spain
