Our client is a respected maritime organisation, providing comprehensive technical services and solutions to a wide range of vessels. We are currently looking to expand the procurement team with a Buyer to provide vital support to the Technical Department Buyer (Based in Hong Kong) ORGANIZATION : YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Own vessel purchasing execution from request to fulfilment, balancing urgency/criticality with cost and delivery commitments. Handle requisitions in the Internal purchasing system, ensuring every transaction aligns with internal controls, contracts, and approved buying routes. Work with supply chain leads and vendors to align pricing, availability, and delivery planssupporting consistent cost discipline. Create clear, accurate POs and close the loop with suppliers by securing acknowledgements and resolving documentation gaps early.
