Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead Yukon First Nation participation in major infrastructure, energy, defence, and procurement opportunities. This role will act as the central coordination point between Yukon First Nation businesses, development corporations, governments, and industry partners to ensure they are positioned to participate and invest in major projects across the North.

Major projects and investment coordination

• Establish and coordinate the Grid Connection Project Table and related project tables.
• Grow the Investment Table into a long term hub for major Yukon investment opportunities.
• Act as the primary contact point between First Nation wealth entities and major project partners.
• Support the development of equity participation and ownership pathways for major infrastructure projects.
• Help track project progress, decisions, and participation opportunities.
