Building Staff

Overview Responsible for overseeing and managing all building inspection operations for the City. This role ensures the efficiency and coordination of both office and field functions while safeguarding public health, safety, and general welfare of citizens by planning, coordinating, and directing building inspections activities for the City. The position reports to the Assistant City Manager. Essential Functions Provides regular updates, strategic recommendations, and departmental performance reports to the City Manager's Office, ensuring alignment of Building Services operations with citywide priorities and executive direction. Reviews plans for compliance with locally adopted codes (building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and for compliance with applicable ordinances.
