About the Role
We are recruiting a Bookkeeper / Cost Accounting Coordinator to join our team to support our steel fabrication client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use Sage 300 to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping functions: recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate records
- Prepare financial reports and month‑end documentation, job costing, trial balances, reconciliations, work‑in‑progress, and reports for internal stakeholders
- Oversee and process accounts payable and receivables
- Process weekly payroll (up to 50 employees); calculate and remit tax withholdings, process ROEs, T4s and related government remittances
- Provide general administrative support such as answering phones (owner/plant manager only); importing / exporting documentation, courier paperwork, filing and coordinating travel and lodging arrangements as required
