Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a Blaster at our Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. This position is a 7x7 schedule, day shift rotation.

Please note that this opportunity is NOT a fly-in-fly-out position.

Copper Mountain Mine is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley. Princeton is a community-oriented town with a diverse offering of activities, especially for those who love the outdoors.

Summary

Reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Blaster is responsible for filling blast holes with explosives and detonating to dislodge materials as directed by the Supervisor while meeting all safety regulations, policies, and procedures of Copper Mountain Mine.
