Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane is seeking an analytical Chemist to join their laboratory team for a casual full time hours position, working Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Performs normal analytical work and exercises individual judgement and initiative in the application of scientific principles, techniques and methods
• Carry out routine analysis on samples and products in the quality control laboratory
• Follow Analytical Laboratory Methods and SOP’s, and adhere to Pharmacopoeia’s, regulatory and GLP, GMP Guidelines
• Plan and coordinate own workload
• Adherence to laboratory calibration schedules
• Performance track record of attention to detail

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (Chemistry or related Discipline)
• Wet chemical and instrumental techniques (e.g. Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, TLC, dissolution testin...
