About the Role
Under the general direction of the Director of F&B, and within the limited of established InterContinental Hotels Group and local hotel policies and procedures, ensure the smooth conduct of the shift through customer focused service delivery and effective staff supervision.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
+ Ensure all food and beverage served is in accordance to brand standards and served at appropriate time and place
+ Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
+ Approve time sheets on completion of shift checking they are complete and accurate
+ Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary
+ Always know what events and activities are on the day’s schedule
+ Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help
+ Perform detailed shift handover and closing of the bar
+ Maximize revenue on shift through promotion and upselling, and training ...
