Baker

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes and customer requests.
• Measure and combine ingredients accurately to create doughs and batters.
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
• Decorate and finish baked items with icing, glazes, and other toppings as needed.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure high-quality products.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and baking area, following health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven experience as a baker or in a related role (preferred).
