Responsibilities
Operate and maintain backhoe to excavate dirt, rock, sand, and other minerals.Responsible for the efficient working condition of the backhoe. This includes Performing routine maintenance including minor servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the backhoe.Responsible for alerting the serviceman of any significant problems.Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability.Locate underground services, such as pipes o...
