Backend Software Engineer (AI Systems & Automation)

We’re looking for an AI-enabled, product-minded Backend Software Engineer to strengthen the technical foundation of a global, digital-first higher education institution.

This is not a traditional backend role. We are looking for someone who actively integrates AI into production systems and thinks in terms of product architecture, scalability, and long-term resilience. You should be backend-leaning, comfortable owning systems end-to-end, and capable of identifying gaps and proposing improvements without waiting for direction.

AI usage must go beyond personal productivity. You must have hands-on experience integrating AI into live systems and production workflows, including practical experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding copilots in real development environments.

This role requires full alignment with US working hours.
