Backend Engineer

Welcome to Tap Electric. Tap is an e-mobility startup based in the heart of Amsterdam, connecting drivers to chargers for seamless car charging. Our mission is to deliver a brilliant driver experience at the intersection of grid and mobility.

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer who loves writing clean, reliable code, but is equally excited about building products for real people. This is a product engineering role, not a ticket factory. You’ll help shape what we build, why we build it, and how it lands with customers.

You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, product, growth, and the founders to build the systems that power Tap.

The role

As a Backend Engineer, you will:
