Backend Developer with Node.js/Typescript

**CTG is seeking to fill a Backend Developer (Node.js/TypeScript) position for our client.**

**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 12 months

**Duties:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
+ Build reusable modules and components with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
+ Develop and integrate event-driven services using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and message processing workflows.
+ Implement error handling, retry strategies, and operational visibility for Kafka-based services.
+ Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure following security and architectural best practices.
+ Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment configuration.
